IF A FATHER HELPS PUT IT TOGETHER, IS IT A DYNADADETER?

Color us surprised. In our almost 18 years of existence, this is apparently the very first dynamometer we've sold. And this one is less of a precision instrument and more of a fun toy for demonstrating science. It ain't going to give you a readout of torque or power, so don't try to hook this up to your R/C motor. But it is a neat contraption that demonstrates how physics works.

This Mechanical DIY Dynamometer will show you how much power you're generating. But it doesn't work until you put it together, because it's a kit. Made from premium grade plywood, the 48 pieces are scored and ready for you to punch out and put together. It's a fun project that requires no tools (although you may wish to have a craft knife handy and a small hammer to help things fit). We recommend that little kids have adult supervision, to help understand instructions, provide brute force, and to keep the smaller pieces from snapping. And once you're done, you can let kids demonstrate for themselves why one does better than another blowing out the candles. Hope that's what you wished for.
