Batman: The Animated Series follows the adventures of Batman and his assistant Robin as they fight to keep the streets of Gotham safe from bandits and baddies such as The Joker, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Penguin, The Riddler and more! The series spawned the DC Animated Universe, inspiring many spin-off shows. It's also credited with the introduction of the character Harley Quinn, who would later join the mainstream DC lineup.
Inspired by the iconic opening credits of Batman: The Animated Series, this new set recreates the dynamic colours and familiar buildings of the Gotham City™ skyline. But it’s what you don’t see immediately that is the real surprise here. Fans will find that every detail, vehicle, structure and decoration has been taken from a specific scene, episode or moment from the ground-breaking series.
This 4,210-piece buildable GOTHAM CITY backdrop measures over 76 cm (30 in.) wide. It incorporates 15 panels that remove to reveal the inside of Wayne Manor, the Batcave™ and Arkham Asylum, and the activities of numerous villains from Batman: The Animated Series. The set also includes 4 minifigures – Batman, The Joker™, Harley Quinn™ and Catwoman™ – and a removable Batmobile™ and Batwing™. The assembled model can be mounted on a wall or stood on a surface using a flip-out stand. The 2 sets of included building instructions allow 2 people to work on the model simultaneously. For added convenience, a digital version of the set’s building instructions can be found on the LEGO Builder app.
