Disney's film based on Washington Irving's masterpiece 'The Headless Horseman'.
It tells the story of schoolteacher Ichabod Crane, who is enamored with Katrina Van Tassel. Ichabod attends a party hosted by her father, where he encounters Brom Bones, a local tough guy who also has feelings for Katrina. Brom Bones tries to frighten Ichabod with the tale of 'The Headless Horseman', a ghostly figure from the Revolutionary War who lost his head in battle. Later, while riding home through Sleepy Hollow late at night, Ichabod comes face to face with the Headless Horseman, who is determined to claim his head. The question remains: will Ichabod manage to escape the terrifying ghost, or will the Headless Horseman succeed in taking his head?
