Banjo-Kazooie is a platform and action-adventure hybrid video game developed by Rareware and published by Nintendo in 1998 and was released for the Nintendo 64. The game's story focuses on a bear named Banjo and a bird named Kazooie as they set out on a quest to rescue Banjo's sister, Tooty, who was kidnapped by the witch Gruntilda. Along their journey, the two receive help from Mumbo Jumbo and Bottles the Mole, as well as various other characters in smaller roles.
