Story

Set in the sun-drenched Mediterranean island republic of Medici, a land crumbling under the ruthless rule of General Di Ravello, you take control of series' hero Rico Rodriguez, a man on a mission to liberate his homeland and the people of Medici…by any means necessary. With over 400 square miles of complete freedom from sky to seabed and a huge arsenal of weaponry, gadgets and vehicles, prepare to unleash chaos in the most creative and explosive ways you can imagine.

Meet Rico Rodriguez:

A man on a mission to save his homeland and friends from the iron grasp of the ruthless General DiRavello. Unstoppable, fearless, determined: words fail to describe Rico's character. His actions are all that matters. Where others reach their limits, Rico just begins. He doesn't hide, he doesn't crouch to cover from his enemies, he tackles any obstacle head-on and makes some noise while at it. Once faced with a challenge, nothing and no one can stop him.

Rico's toolbox

• The famous Rico's grapple hook
  By grappling to any surface at any time, Rico can fast-travel through the map, hijack moving vehicles, or to give himself a speed boost when using parachute or wingsuit. The multiple grapple tethers allow Rico to connect and manually real-in objects together leading to creative destruction. With new upgrades, the grapple becomes even stronger. Attach soldiers to exploding fuel tanks, slingshot a car to destroy a checkpoint, smash a flying helicopter into the ground: the possibilities are limitless.
• The wingsuit
  In a matter of seconds, Rico can bullet through the sky and ambush DiRavello's militia forces from above. Upgrading the wingsuit grants Rico additional abilities such as sling shooting while flying, triggering wingsuit while reeling in, or cancelling it in mid-air and landing, making Rico unstoppable.
• The ParachuteThe parachute is an essential part of Rico's arsenal. Besides being a handy means of transportation, the parachute helps Rico strike his enemies with great precision, using one or two handed weapons, while making him harder to target.
• The Guns With the mounted universal “gun rack”, Rico can carry up to 3 weapons of your choice. Rico can tap into his firepower at any time whether he is free falling, wing walking, stunting or in a parachute. With an unlimited access to C4 and grenades, Rico is a force to be reckoned with.
