What is Laybuy?

With Laybuy, you can have your products shipped or picked up with Click & Collect right now, but pay over 6 weekly interest-free instalments on the day of your choice.

For example, if you spend $120, each instalment of $20 would be deducted from your credit or debit card each week. If your order is eligible, Laybuy will be shown as a payment method in the checkout.

Who can use Laybuy?

Laybuy is available as a payment option if you:

  • Are at least 18 years old
  • Live in New Zealand
  • Have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile number
  • Use a New Zealand credit or debit card to make the purchase

First time users will need to create an account.

What can Laybuy be used on?

Laybuy can be used for all purchases, excluding:

  • Preorders
  • Orders below $6.00
  • Downloadable content, digital currency, and season passes

If your order contains either of these exclusions, then Laybuy won’t be an available payment option in the checkout.

Laybuy performs a credit check on all new user registrations to determine the spend limit. For more information on spending above your Laybuy limit, refer to Laybuy Boost.

Can Laybuy be used in-store?

You can pay for Click & Collect orders using Laybuy and pick up your items from your favourite store!

Click & Collect orders will be ready for pick up within 15 minutes during your stores normal business hours.

If you are already in store and want to use Laybuy, simply shop for your items on, choose Click & Collect, check out with Laybuy, and your order will be ready in minutes!

How do I refund items paid for using Laybuy?

Laybuy orders cannot be returned or exchanged in-store at this time. This applies to both home delivery and Click & Collect orders.

To organise a return or exchange of your product paid for using Laybuy, give the Customer Support Hotline a call on (06) 880 3090 .

Returns and exchanges are subject to our returns policy. Once your refund has been processed, any future Laybuy payments will be cancelled, and any money owed to you will be refunded back to you by Laybuy.
